Seller Description
Developed within the scope of the Type Four Project, a partnership between Saab, Fiat, Lancia and Alfa Romeo, the Saab 9000 marked a new stage in the history of the Swedish brand. Although it shared the platform with other group models, it was deeply developed by Saab, which prioritized safety, build quality and mechanical robustness. The Turbo versions quickly became the reference of the range, consolidating the brand's reputation for supercharging and offering a notable balance between performance, comfort and reliability.
This example was registered in February 1990 and presents an increasingly rare characteristic: it was acquired new by the current owner, remaining ever since under the same ownership, a fact confirmed by the vehicle's documentation. Equipped with a 2.0 Turbo engine with 16 valves, a manual gearbox, an electric liftgate, functional air conditioning and grey leather upholstery, it retains its original configuration and benefits from Historical Vehicle Certification.
Despite about 344,000 kilometres, it shows a good overall condition of conservation, with a well-aligned bodywork, good appearance paint and interiors that reveal only the natural wear of use, reflecting the care it has always received.
Finding today a Saab 9000 Turbo is already uncommon. Finding a national example, owned solely since new, certified as a Historical Vehicle and preserved in its original configuration is, surely, an increasingly rare opportunity.
