Mercedes-Benz 300 GD 1999 G 300 Turbo Diesel

Acquired new in Portugal in 1999 and owned by the same owner since then, this Mercedes‐Benz G 300 Turbodiesel represents one of the most notable testimonies of robustness, construction quality and longevity that made the Class G an unavoidable reference in the brand's history.

During practically its entire life it has been serviced through the official Mercedes‐Benz network, strictly adhering to the brand's maintenance plans. In recent years it has maintained exactly the same conservation philosophy, relying exclusively on original Mercedes‐Benz components in all interventions carried out.

Equipped with the recognized six‐cylinder inline OM606 engine, completely original and never opened, this example shows flawless operation, accompanied by a truly unusual state of preservation. The bodywork demonstrates excellent preservation, the interiors retain minimal wear, the plastics remain intact and all controls function with the characteristic solidity of Mercedes‐Benz from that era.

The quality of its conservation was internationally recognized in 2009 during the official celebrations of the 30th anniversary of the Mercedes‐Benz Class G, held at the factory in Graz, Austria, where it was distinguished as the vehicle with the highest mileage present at the event and, simultaneously, one of the best preserved. A particularly significant recognition for having been awarded precisely at the location where the Class G has been produced since 1979.

The vehicle comes with all original documentation, logbooks and maintenance history, as well as various original Mercedes‐Benz accessories, among which a newly acquired and never used roof baggage compartment box.

In a market where many Class G have lost their originality, underwent modifications or received irregular maintenance, this example stands out for its authenticity, known history and consistent preservation over more than two decades.
