Jaguar XJ6 1971 4.2 Série 1

This 1971 example, equipped with the iconic 4.2‐litre six‐cylinder inline engine, presents itself in a very interesting overall condition, reflecting a past restoration and careful use over the years.

Aesthetically, it stands out for its particularly happy chromatic combination, with a dark green bodywork and a tan leather interior, creating a classic, sophisticated atmosphere that fits perfectly with the spirit of the era. The paint shows good gloss and uniformity, with no obvious signs of wear, while the chrome is well preserved, showing a generally excellent presentation.

Inside, the upholstery retains a natural patina compatible with its age, and the wooden dashboard maintains a carefully kept appearance. Original instrumentation is present, contributing to the authenticity of the set.

In terms of equipment, this XJ6 comes with four electric windows, an extra relevant one at the time, as well as rear seat belts introduced later, which improve usability without compromising the vehicle’s character.

From a mechanical standpoint, the automobile is functional and ready for use, also benefiting from a conversion to an automatic gearbox, a solution often adopted on this model to prioritize driving comfort.

It is also important to note that this example is certified as a Historic Vehicle, a factor that reinforces its classification within the world of recognized and valued classics.

Thus, it is a well‐presented Jaguar XJ6 Series 1, with a highly appealing configuration and ready to be enjoyed, representing an excellent opportunity for anyone seeking a distinct classic, usable and with strong presence in any context.
